Aronia × Prunifolia ‘Brilliant’

This undemanding deciduous shrub is a spectacular sight in autumn when its green leaves turn vibrant shades of orange and red. ‘Brilliant’ is very pretty in summer, when its stems are laden with sprays of hawthorn-like, white (or occasionally pink-flushed) flowers. Purplish-red berries ripen in the autumn, and can be harvested and used to make jams, jellies or tarts.
